The Shinjuku District of Tokyo Japan is located 6 or 7 km northwest of Tokyo Station.  It is home the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and the Electronics area.

Scramble Crossing, a spectacle of organized chaos unique to the city is also located in Shinjuku.
