The Shinjuku District of Tokyo Japan is located 6 or 7 km northwest of Tokyo Station.  It is home the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and the Electronics area.

Visitors to the city can enjoy a daytime or evening view of the area from the observation deck at the Tokyo Government Building.  Admission is free of charge.
