Ueno Park is a beautiful park located in northern Tokyo that features boating
ponds, shrines and temples. It is a particularly pleasant attraction to visit
in the spring time when the cherry trees are in full blossom.
A 17th century pagoda, the Tosho-gu Shrine and a zoo can be found in the
park. Ueno Park is also the location of several of Tokyo's top
museums:
- Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum
- Tokyo National Museum
- National Museum of Western Art
- National Science Museum
Visitors can simply take the Tokyo subway to the Ueno Subway station to
reach the park.
